Coldplay continues to steal BTS ARMY’s hearts with their deep respect and admiration for the k-pop icon Jin.
After exciting fans with their surprise reunion on Saturday, April 19, two years after the BTS star shared the stage with the rock band frontman Christ Martin during their Argentina concert in 2022, they offered behind the scenes glimpse of their latest collaboration.
Taking over the Instagram on Monday, April 21, the rock band posted a series of photos in a joint Instagram post with Jin, 32.
The cover photo featured Jin, whose real name is Kim Seok-Jin, and Chris rehearsing at the Goyang Stadium.
Dressed in a brown shirt under a transparent jacket for the rain and baggy pants, the K-pop sensation appeared to be enjoying every bit of his rehearsals with Chris.
Among other snapshots one captured the moment before Jin stepped on the stage that night with a sign that read, “My Bro, can I sing the Astronaut with you?” and “Pick me pls.” This is how the idol arrived on stage before joining Chris Martin for an unforgettable performance.
Fans flooded the comment section of the post with gratitude for rock band’s love for Jin, with one praising, “Seeing Chris welcome him with so much love, the deep respect for BTS still so alive, and the genuine affection Jin has for this friendship… it was truly moving.”
Notably, Jin’s last performance before his military enlistment was with Coldplay, and two years later, his first performance after military discharge is with the same band.
